Brief work history

Previous practice activities includes coordinating a Diabetic Support Group providing nutrition education as well as raising general awareness of the disease.  She also managed the Healthy Weight Programmes at the Sports Science Institute of South Africa and was the regional dietician for Vodacom for 3 years. She has also done contract work for the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates which involved Corporate Wellness. She has also assessed menus on board the SA Aghulhas II ship as well as assessment of Emergency food storage on board in 2013-2014.


Currently she is employed at UCT as a Clinical Educator/Lecturer in the Department of Human Nutrition in the mornings and runs her private practice in the afternoons. She also coordinates Corporate Wellness Days for companies, involving talks, demonstrations. She is registered with the Discovery Vitality Dieticians Network and is also on the panel of dieticians for Woolworths, Western Cape
